Directions Follow Stone Creek east until it bends south and climbs up to obvious saddle. Takes 2-3 hours. Head south across rolling Alpine Basin towards Spruce Creek Pass. Takes about 2 hours. Then there will be a short steep climb to Spruce Creek Pass, followed by an easy descent to your car.
